A little more of my story
I am a member of Gravy for the Brain and have done many of their courses during the last five years and benefited from insightful personal mentoring by Hugh Edwards and Peter Dickson.
I am also a member of Rachael Naylor's Voice Over Network and regularly take part in her fantastic training and networking events. Key training:
Yvonne Morley in her Intensive and Extreme Vocal workshops.
Workshops with Dave Fennoy in developing characters for Video Games. Also a live Games workshop with Hugh Edwards and Peter Dickson.
Louis Elman Academy for ADR, a workshop with David John.
I am proud to say I was a runner up in the Christmas Voice of Gravy for the Brain 2015!
With my background in the heritage and museum sector, I'm passionate about working as a voice over actor for history projects and have delivered audio guides for the Pump Room at Bath, character voices at Dover Castle and a cartoon character for the London Postal Museum. I love audiobooks too and recently produced my second audiobook for ACX, 'Romantic Road' by Blair McDowell, bringing to life a colourful array of characters from Canada to Russia and all stops in between along Germany's famous road.
I play a leading voice over role as 'Martha' in the award-winning UK feature film 'Leave Now' which is showing at film festivals at home and abroad.
In 2018 I narrated two documentary series for the Discovery Channel on Colombia and Australia and have continued to expand my portfolio with more advertising campaigns and on-line narrations.
I have recorded 'Voice of God' deliveries for conferences for pharmaceutical companies and in 2018 enjoyed working as a Live Announcer for the Ramsgate International Film Festival, including holding Q & A’s with filmmakers and actors. I also presented a fundraising Belly Dancing benefit featuring a plethora of belly dancing acts from the south east.
I can produce professional voiceover audio in my home studio at short notice, typically within 24 hours.
My microphone is the beautifully smooth Sennheiser MK 4 and audio is edited and mastered using the industry-standard Audacity and Sound Forge programmes.
